We have to go on further, whatever! The installation, which is presented by Visite ma tente in cooperation with Barbara Wille and Vanessa Henn on preview 2009 talks about stoic optimism in turbulent times. Through the image of a raft, the sculpture of Barbara Wille points out the idea of a journey with unknown destination. The handrails of Vanessa Henn refer to this topic of supported moves and question these assumed securities with absurdity. The absurd also plays a role in the works of Barbara Wille. Relations appear upside down, cause and effect, inside and outside are turned around. The collages and photographic works of the two artists create possible utopias beyond the horizon.
